really pointless post

Self-pity sucks.

It needs to be kicked farfarfar away.

I’m not unrealistic. maybe just a few million galaxies away.

Sick afternoons are either spent sleeping or watching monkeys play in the tennis court and plot their next food-stealing expedition. And then the rain comes, bringing the shrouding mist with it, and chases them all away. back to the forest, to play among the trees again.

so ends the month of august.

worms in my rice

Wednesday, August 15th, 2007

Just finished dinner. well, sorta. see, dinner was cut short aburptly when i spotted something which was approximately the same length and width as a grain of rice, but obviously grains of rice don’t moving about in your spoon. Turns out it was one of those vegetable pests who take up residence in innocent looking brunches of brocoli, not knowing that they are about to become sustenance for some critter higher up on the food chain. how absolutely disgusting.I think it’ll be at least a long while before i eat from that store again.=(

Anyway, today was fun, was late meeting them, but as it turns out, only qing and matt were ontime, i arrived at approximately the same time as zhen, and louisa was well…late.

We proceeded for ice-cream(matthew’s treat.thanks Matt!), and a piece of wannabe oreo cheesecake. It’s consistency rather more resembled a fishball, as compared to a normal cake.Pictures can be found on either qing’s blog, or matt’s blog, whichever suits your fancy.Following which, we had a shopping spree at candy empire, with matt in the background telling us about the amount of cal’s in each item.

During this time, zhen had to leave, and louisa arrived, narrowly missing her. Oh well. looks like she’ll have to wait another 9months before the "catch-up" can take place.

Louisa wanted to eat at cavana’s, and we thought the "chickbits" looked quite enticing on the menu and so ordered 2 sets. Alas, the miracles of photo editing.they turned out to be more like over-cooked bits of flour with pitiful amounts of chicken fibers. quite a far cry from the popcorn imitations we were expecting.

A few stops at Fox and Diva led to another food break at HK cafe. Had a sandwich thing, and played the really old brick game. haha. It’s really quite addictive.

Okay, i’m aware i sound quite whiny about the food, fortunately, the company more than made up for it.=) I swear, this combination of people is pure entertainment.haha. lots of camwhoring(from louisa n qing) ,sarcasm(courtesy of matt) and laughter and wit, to which everyone contributed.

Had ballet at LADC after that, cabbed down from cityhall, class was fun as usual, but i think i prefered the previous piro combi. wonder what we’ll do next week. oh. and omgosh. pretty much the first thing when we stepped into the studio.SOMEPERSON says "oh look!! that guy’s quite cute you know!"accompanied by copious amounts of gigglinghahaha. I knew it! i knew i was gonna hear that statement sooner or later.heh

After class, Louisa didn’t want to walk to the mrt on her own, so asked someone to walk with her. think she said something bout class next week. not too sure what exactly though. better go check. oops.

hmmm. a quick review of my writing tells me i am once again morphing into queen of typos. Seeing as how this is usually my brains way of telling me that my bed would like my attention now, i think this is a goodplace to stop typing and go listen to my new Daddy Yankee CD. ciao! ((:

Chris: What happened to you?

Me. Obviously i heard something which shocks or stuns me.

Chris: okay,what?

Me: Can’t tell you. It’s a secret.

Chris: oh okay. *pauses* Does it have to do with *accurately names person involved*

Me: huh? how’d you know? but i still can’t tell you the issue

Chris: okay.. Is it *Accurately describes the situation*

Me:huh??? okay.  but how’d you know? I didn’t even say anything!

Chris: Because that the only thing that could possibly traumatise you la.

end of conversation.

I swear somethimes. physic okay. it’s just not fair.haha.I am a relatively easily traumatised person. i just happen to recover quickly, thought i’m still not quite sure if it’s due to the short-term-memory syndrome =)

My temperature is finally going down=) although it seems to have gone over to qing. poor qing. I hope she gets well soon. then we can go salvage her hair on wednesday=)

Pilates!! Yeah! nus classes are so much cheaper! It’s different is almost obscene. Can’t wait for classes to start.I think they sound so relaxing after sunday balleting. or maybe i’m just deluded.haha.whichever

All the presents are pretty much taken care of now! except for one or two, although some are really really belated. oh my. better speed up a little bit.

Dancelife is on now! byebye!((:

Mr. Endorphin rush

Just finished watching some of "Mr Hongkong 2007" with cory, and had to try to translate most of it for her.hahaha. my cantonese is only marginally better than my chinese it seems.heh.time to watch more cantonese serials with Ron ng and Samuel chan.mymy.eyecandy (=

hahaha. the audience was fully comprised of girls i think. which makes sense. i can’s exactly imagine any guy i know wanting to sit through a session of watching other guys parade their abs,or lack of,in a swimsuit segment….well. not many anyway.

I thought the winner was quite good-looking, but his "kungfu" segment was kind of anti climatic. It would probably be more impressive to see him doing some gravity defying jumps or something. and the first contestent’s sword looked like it was made of aluminium. oops. hahahaha.

It was a fun dinner time anyway.Full of laughter, just the way i like my dinners. (=

I suddenly think belly dancing might be kinda fun! haha.i know, totally unexpected right? hehe.Anyone interested in trying it with me?

Rachel and Sarina are coming for ballet tmr! yeah!

1)means rachel’s knee is better

2)bigger class, no more 2 people stressness anymore =) jiayi’s gonna kill me now.hahahaha

Singapore is such a small place. Everyone seems to know everyone else. and have something to say about everyone else. oh dear.hmmm…

okay. going to look for spare jazz pants for fel.goh now. blog more ltr!=)

ps: i have decided eyecandy is preferable to crushes.what a belated realization.hahahahaha.
